Gas Supply to Five Islamabad Sectors Temporarily Suspended

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced a temporary suspension of gas supply in five sectors of Islamabad — E-7, E-8, E-9, E-10, and F-8 — from 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, to 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 9. The interruption is required to carry out essential maintenance work on the main pipeline near Shaheen Chowk, E-9. SNGPL advised residents to arrange alternatives and exercise caution when using gas appliances after restoration. The company stated that the activity is part of its ongoing system improvement plan to enhance network reliability and ensure safe gas distribution in the capital. It also apologized for the temporary inconvenience, assuring that all work will be completed swiftly to minimize public disruption.
