Islamabad: The Pakistan Tax Bar Association has urged the Federal Board of Revenue to immediately restore the “Change in Particulars” facility, known as Form 181, for sales tax-registered persons on the IRIS portal. In a letter to FBR Member Inland Revenue Operations Zubair Bilal, the association said taxpayers are unable to update essential business and registration details, disrupting routine operations and creating compliance difficulties. FBR’s official guidance requires registered persons to report changes in their name, address or other registration particulars within the prescribed period. The tax body warned that the unavailability of the online facility may expose genuine taxpayers to avoidable operational and legal complications. No official FBR response or timeline for restoring Form 181 had been announced at the time of reporting.
