Crescent Ground storage tank work accelerated

Muhammad Muzamil Awan : Lahore: On the directions of Managing Director WASA Saqib Raza, construction work on the underground storage tank at Crescent Ground has been accelerated. Deputy Managing Director Engineering Shoaib Zia visited the site late at night along with Director Construction Hayat Randhawa, while a representative of the company consultant was also present. The contractor has started concrete work on the underground storage tank, and the DMD Engineering inspected the process. According to MD WASA, the project will be completed before the monsoon season and will help resolve the drainage issue from Millat Chowk. The project is important for urban flood control, road safety, property protection, and commercial movement. Can this tank reduce monsoon-related drainage pressure in Lahore?
