Capital Smart City’s 498-Acre Silicon Village Emerges as Pakistan’s Largest Tech Zone

Islamabad/Rawalpindi: Silicon Village at Capital Smart City is being developed across 498 acres as a dedicated technology and innovation district. Pakistan’s Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA) identifies Silicon Village as the country’s largest STZA-licensed Special Technology Zone. The zone is being developed by FDH Technology Park Pvt Ltd and is positioned along the M-2 Motorway, around five to seven minutes from Islamabad International Airport, giving it strategic connectivity for technology companies, startups and investors.

The wider vision includes technology businesses, research and development, startup incubation and digital infrastructure. Capital Smart City inaugurated a Smart Incubation Center at Silicon Village in May 2025, while its latest development records also continue to list Silicon Village among active development areas.
