Burj Al Arab Set to Reopen in October 2027 After Major Restoration

Dubai: Dubai’s iconic Burj Al Arab is currently closed for an extensive 18-month restoration programme and is expected to reopen to guests in October 2027. The hotel, which opened in 1999, is undergoing its first major restoration of this scale after more than 25 years of operation. Led by French interior architect Tristan Auer, the project focuses on upgrading the interiors while preserving the property’s distinctive identity. The restoration covers the hotel’s suites, restaurants and leisure spaces.
