Lahore: The service road on Ferozepur Road, located in front of Bank Stop and near Ideal Garden Housing Scheme, has remained damaged and deteriorated for a long time, creating serious problems for daily commuters. Several parts of the road have sunk, while potholes and broken surfaces are affecting traffic flow and increasing the risk of accidents for motorists, motorcyclists, rickshaw drivers, and pedestrians. Residents say the damaged manhole on the service road has also become dangerous due to ground settlement and may cause a major accident if not repaired immediately. Locals claim they have repeatedly informed the concerned authorities, but no effective repair work has been carried out so far.
