Lahore: The Punjab government has completed a 25-kilometre road from Hafizabad to Khanqah Dogran, linking it directly with the M-2 Motorway under the “Sarkain Bahal – Punjab Khushhal Programme”. Officials stated that around 4,500 vehicles will benefit daily from improved connectivity and smoother travel. The project aims to enhance regional mobility, reduce travel time, and strengthen inter-city access for commuters and transporters. Additionally, an 8.25km stretch including Kotli Najeeb to Liaqat Chowk and Multan-Shujaabad road has also been completed at a cost of Rs 130m. Authorities said the infrastructure upgrades will improve safety, stimulate commercial activity, and support long-term economic growth in the surrounding districts.
