2-Acre Playland Inaugurated at Greater Iqbal Park, Lahore

Punjab Housing and Urban Development Minister Bilal Yasin has inaugurated a two-acre family playland at Lahore’s Greater Iqbal Park, marking another addition to the city’s recreational facilities. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Vice Chairman Parks and Horticulture Authority Lahore Ghazali Saleem Butt and Director General Raja Mansoor. Officials briefed that the playland has been developed on a Disneyland-inspired concept and features modern motion rides for children, including safari motorbikes, break dance rides, merry-go-rounds, and pirate ships. Authorities confirmed that all rides and equipment have received fitness certification from UET. The minister emphasized the importance of safe, family-friendly recreational spaces and directed strict implementation of SOPs and safety standards across all public parks.
