The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), established in 1989 as the successor to Rawalpindi Improvement Trust, is responsible for the planned development and regulation of Rawalpindi. Operating as an autonomous body, it oversees urban planning, development projects, and infrastructure improvements to support modern city growth.
