Federal Government Employees Housing Authority

Chaklala Heights is a residential apartment project planned by the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority under Chaklala Scheme III in Rawalpindi. The project is being developed on land measuring 508 kanals, which was transferred by the Capital Development Authority to FGEHA in 2019. The scheme is designed to provide modern apartment living facilities for federal government employees in line with the Naya Pakistan housing vision.

The project includes 4 categories of apartments planned under a revised layout plan. Category A includes 5 blocks with 4 flats per floor in G plus 11 storey buildings, comprising 240 flats. Category B includes 15.5 blocks with 4 flats per floor in G plus 11 storey buildings, comprising 744 flats. Category C includes 13 blocks with 8 flats per floor in G plus 9 storey buildings, comprising 1,040 flats. Category D includes 14 blocks with 8 flats per floor in G plus 9 storey buildings, comprising 1,120 flats. The total number of planned apartments under the project is 3,144, out of which 1,732 units have POL issued.

The project was formally launched by the Prime Minister of Pakistan on 11 March 2020. Planning and design works have been completed by the consultant and the revised layout plan was approved on 21 April 2022. Infrastructure development works have commenced on site, while the tendering process for apartment construction is in progress. The project is planned to be completed within a period of 30 months, after which possession will be handed over to the allottees.
