The Punjab Human Capital Investment Project PHCIP is a major social development initiative launched by the Planning and Development Board Punjab to improve access to health, education and social protection services for low income households. The project focuses on strengthening early childhood development, maternal health, nutrition and primary education to support long term human development across the province.

The project includes capacity building of public service centers, support for community based health and education programs, improved delivery of nutrition services, digital systems for monitoring and targeted social protection interventions. It aims to reduce poverty, improve learning outcomes and create equal opportunities for children and mothers in underserved communities. Through coordinated efforts, PHCIP is designed to enhance the overall quality of life for vulnerable families.

PHCIP is being implemented with a focus on sustainable development, improved public service delivery and long term social impact. By investing in health, education and community welfare, the project strengthens human capital and supports inclusive growth across Punjab.
