Lahore Admin Removes 1,128 Encroachments in Mega Anti-Encroachment Drive

The Lahore district administration has launched a major anti-encroachment operation under Chief Minister Punjab’s “Suthra Punjab” vision, clearing 1,128 encroachments within 24 hours. Led by Deputy Commissioner Syed Musa Raza, the operation was carried out jointly by the Pera Force, Assistant Commissioners, and the Metropolitan Corporation’s regulation wing. Authorities also removed 2,215 illegal banners and flexes across multiple zones to restore the city’s visual cleanliness.The DC said the goal is to make Lahore encroachment-free and ensure smooth public access to roads, heritage sites, and commercial areas. Confiscated materials were seized on the spot, and strict directions were issued to maintain traffic flow and clear all remaining obstacles without discrimination.
