Job Description
Velosi is seeking a Civil Structural Engineer for its Lahore operations. The role involves structural design and analysis of steel and concrete structures for industrial and oil and gas projects. The selected candidate will prepare design reports project specifications and maintenance strategies while ensuring compliance with international codes and standards for structural integrity and safety.
Responsibilities
Prepare project specifications and structural design reports
Perform structural analysis and design using LRFD and ASD methods
Design steel structures such as pipe racks shelters platforms connections and foundations
Design concrete structures including substation buildings pits and equipment foundations
Develop inspection and maintenance procedures for offshore and onshore assets
Define inspection intervals techniques and tools for structural evaluation
Develop maintenance strategies and remedial action plans
Ensure compliance with international steel and concrete design codes
Support structural integrity and safety management initiatives
Requirements
BSc or MSc in Civil Engineering
3 to 4 years professional experience preferably in oil and gas industry
Experience with engineering consultancy or industrial projects
Knowledge of international structural integrity standards
Strong analytical and technical reporting skills
