Phase Two of Punjab Laptop Scheme Launched for 60,000 Students

Lahore: The Punjab government has launched Phase Two of the Chief Minister Laptop Scheme under which 60,000 students across the province will receive laptops. Students are registering through the Higher Education Department’s online portal to avail the facility. Officials confirmed that Phase One, targeting 100,000 students, is still underway, with phased distribution continuing as per schedule. Authorities stated that overall more than 100,000 laptops will be distributed to eligible students. The initiative aims to equip talented youth with modern technology, promote digital learning, and strengthen research and academic performance across educational institutions in Punjab.
