Lahore Clears 2,611 Encroachments in Four Days

The Lahore district administration has intensified its anti-encroachment drive under the “Suthra Punjab” vision, clearing thousands of illegal obstructions across the city within just four days. According to the Deputy Commissioner Office Lahore, teams led by DC Lahore Syed Musa Raza removed 2,611 encroachments and took down 6,902 illegal banners and flexes from major roads and commercial areas, including Mall Road, Ferozepur Road, Multan Road, Township, Shalimar, and Johar Town. The operation was carried out under the supervision of the Metropolitan Corporation’s regulation squad to improve traffic flow, restore pedestrian pathways, and reduce visual pollution. Authorities have warned that strict legal action will be taken against violators who attempt to re-establish encroachments, stressing that the campaign will continue to ensure long-term urban order and cleanliness across Lahore.
