Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab laid the foundation stone, formally initiating the revamp. The largest project, valued at Rs595.6 million, will focus on Jodia Bazaar, Bolton Market, Mithadar, and Kharadar. An additional Rs100 million has been allocated for the restoration of the historic Lea Market building, targeted for completion within 90 days.
