Sindh Expands Pink Bus Service for Women Commuters

Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon announced the expansion of the Pink Bus service to further support women commuters across Karachi. The Pink BRT buses are now operating from Numaish Chorangi to Surjani, with upcoming routes planned on the Edhi Orange Line BRT and the Green Line. Memon said the provincial government is committed to improving public transport and that more positive initiatives will be announced soon. He also encouraged Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to introduce similar women-exclusive transport services. Speaking at the launch of the Pink Bus on the Green Line route, he revealed that special bikes for children with disabilities are being prepared for free distribution.
