LAHORE: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast rain in Lahore from tomorrow, with a 70 percent chance of precipitation. The city is currently experiencing light fog, with temperatures recorded at 8°C, while the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to remain around 18°C and 7°C respectively. Humidity levels have reached 90 percent, and winds are blowing at a speed of five kilometers per hour. Authorities also reported worsening air quality, with Lahore once again ranking as the most polluted city, recording an AQI of 324, while some areas crossed 500. Meanwhile, a strong western weather system is expected to affect upper regions of the country, bringing rain, snowfall, and potential flash flooding in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and parts of Balochistan. Alerts have been issued to concerned authorities.
