Punjab reviews beautification and repair work on Lahore Ring Road

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Communications and Works Punjab Malik Sohaib Ahmad Bherth chaired an important meeting to review the ongoing beautification and maintenance work on Lahore Ring Road. The meeting was attended by Secretary C&W Sohail Ashraf, Chairman Ring Road Authority, representatives of FWO and senior engineers. Officials briefed the minister on the progress of the beautification project, stating that work on SL-1, SL-2 and SL-3 sections is progressing rapidly while repair work on the Ring Road is also underway. The minister directed FWO to expedite asphalt work, improve the appearance of toll plazas and immediately repair faulty lights on the SL-3 section. Authorities said the project is being carried out on the directions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz to enhance the road infrastructure and urban aesthetics of Lahore.
