BEIJING: Pakistan’s rice exports to China crossed $62 million in 2025, reflecting strong growth in bilateral trade between the two countries. According to official Chinese customs data, Pakistan exported approximately 157.7 million kilograms of rice during the year. The majority of shipments consisted of semi-milled and fully milled rice, generating nearly $47 million in revenue, while broken rice also maintained steady demand. Guangdong emerged as the largest importing province, followed by Beijing, with shipments distributed across several other regions. The data highlights Pakistan’s growing footprint in China’s food market and rising demand for Pakistani rice across diverse provinces.
