Pakistan: The country’s tourism sector is witnessing rapid growth under initiatives like Green Tourism Pakistan, attracting over one million international visitors in the past year. This marks an 820 percent increase, reflecting rising global confidence in Pakistan as a safe and appealing destination. International platforms such as BBC and CNN have ranked Gilgit-Baltistan among the world’s top travel destinations, further boosting visibility. Simplified visa policies for 126 countries and the launch of the “Tourism on the Palm” platform have improved accessibility for travelers. Meanwhile, infrastructure development continues with multiple hotel and resort projects underway, strengthening Pakistan’s position as an emerging global tourism hub.
