Mari Energies Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Mari Minerals (Private) Limited, has entered into a joint venture with Globacore Minerals Limited for mineral exploration in Balochistan’s Chagai district. Under the agreement, Mari Minerals will transfer 49 percent working interest in two exploration licences, EL-322 and EL-323, to Globacore, while retaining operatorship and responsibility for ongoing exploration activities.The transaction is subject to corporate, regulatory and government approvals, according to a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange. The licences cover prospective mineral ground in Chagai, a region known for hosting some of Pakistan’s largest copper and gold deposits. While financial details were not disclosed, the move reflects Mari Energies’ strategy to expand its footprint in Pakistan mining and minerals sector through strategic partnerships.
