FGEHA Plans New Housing Project Near Islamabad Airport

The Senate Standing Committee on Housing and Works has directed the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) to present complete details of its new housing project near Islamabad International Airport in the next meeting. The project, being developed under a public-private partnership (PPP) with ZKB Town, will follow FGEHA’s (JV & PPP) Rules 2025 and the End Product Model to ensure transparency. The housing scheme covers 6,000 kanals near Motorway M-14, offering around 10,000 residential plots for federal employees. Senators emphasized strict compliance with policy and executive board regulations to avoid irregularities. The project aims to provide affordable and high-quality housing and is expected to enhance development near the airport corridor and Islamabad’s western expansion zone.
