Dense Fog Disrupts Traffic Across Punjab, Major Motorways Closed

Dense fog continues to affect Punjab, including Lahore, causing severe disruption to road traffic as visibility dropped to near zero in several areas. According to the Motorway Police Pakistan, the Lahore–Sialkot Motorway (M-11) has been completely closed, while the Lahore–Islamabad Motorway (M-2) is shut from Lahore to Kot Momin. Similarly, the Lahore–Multan Motorway (M-3) remains closed from Faizpur to Darkhana for all traffic. Heavy fog has also been reported in Patoki, Okara, Sahiwal, Multan, Muzaffargarh, Rahim Yar Khan, and Bahawalpur. Authorities have advised citizens to avoid unnecessary travel, use fog lights, reduce speed, and preferably travel between 10am and 6pm for safety.
