The Capital Development Authority (CDA), in collaboration with NAB Rawalpindi and Islamabad, has published updated layout plans for 48 housing schemes on its official website to enhance transparency in the real estate sector. The update follows a two-month review initiated by NAB’s anti-corruption efforts, during which outdated and incomplete information was identified. The revised layout plans now provide accurate, verified, and clearer details for public access, reducing the risk of illegal allotments and fraudulent activities. During a coordination meeting on November 13, NAB emphasized the importance of making these plans public to safeguard citizens’ right to information. NAB’s Awareness and Prevention Wing played a key role in identifying system gaps and recommending reforms. Both institutions plan to continue introducing further transparency measures.
