Job Description
Value Engineering is hiring a Trainee Planning Engineer for its office located in Bahria Phase 4 Rawalpindi. This position is suitable for fresh Civil Engineering graduates as well as candidates with initial experience who wish to build a career in project planning scheduling and estimation within a professional engineering environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing project plans schedules and timelines using planning tools
Support preparation of cost estimates BOQs and quantity take offs
Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly
Assist in material labor and cost analysis for ongoing and upcoming projects
Maintain and organize planning and estimation documentation
Coordinate with project site and procurement teams to gather required data
Support senior engineers in tendering budgeting and reporting activities
Learn and implement industry standards and company procedures
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Basic understanding of construction planning and estimation concepts
Proficiency in MS Excel mandatory
Familiarity with MS Project or Primavera is an advantage
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast paced environment
