Job Description
Directorate General of Archaeology Tourism Archaeology and Museums Department Government of Punjab is inviting applications for the position of Project Engineer under ADP projects for preservation restoration improvement management and upgradation of Rohtas Fort District Jhelum. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning supervision and execution of civil engineering works related to conservation and development of heritage sites. The role requires strong technical expertise along with the ability to manage on site activities ensuring compliance with approved designs heritage standards and project timelines.
Responsibilities
Supervise civil engineering works for heritage conservation projects
Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
Coordinate with architects conservation experts and contractors
Assist in planning scheduling and execution of restoration works
Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards
Prepare progress reports and technical documentation
Support preservation and structural stability of historical monuments
Resolve on site engineering issues during project execution
Requirements
Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering from HEC recognized university
Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council required
Minimum 7 years experience with Bachelor degree or 3 years with Master degree
Experience in development projects preferably in heritage management or conservation
Strong understanding of construction supervision and project coordination
Punjab domicile required
