Job Description
MEP Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Project Engineer (Mechanical) in Lahore to manage and supervise mechanical services works on large-scale projects. The role involves site coordination, shop drawing review, testing & commissioning, quality control, and close collaboration with project management teams.
Responsibilities
Act as the responsible Mechanical Engineer on site and report directly to the Project Manager.
Advise the Project Manager on technical aspects affecting construction progress, quality, and performance.
Review and monitor the construction schedule during site execution.
Review mechanical shop drawings against design and tender drawings for compliance.
Coordinate mechanical shop drawings with structural and electrical disciplines.
Review mechanical material submittals and advise on technical suitability.
Assess proposed subcontractors from a technical perspective.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Perform off-site inspections of equipment and materials when required.
Review and monitor mechanical testing and commissioning plans and schedules.
Witness pressure testing, duct leakage testing, and first-fix inspections.
Witness final testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
Review testing and commissioning results and report findings to the Project Manager.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mechanical services execution.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems.
Experience in shop drawing review, testing, and commissioning.
Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Good communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
