Job Description

Communication and Works Department Government of the Punjab is inviting applications for the position of Manager Interior Designing under the Strategic Planning Unit SPU. The role focuses on interior design planning coordination and implementation for public sector buildings and infrastructure projects in accordance with government standards and functional requirements.

Responsibilities

Planning and preparation of interior design of different buildings under the supervision of Senior Manager Architect.

Conducting the meeting with the client for the scope.

Preparation of concept interior proposals for the client including the 3D images of the proposal.

Preparation of working drawings after the approval from the client.

Liaising with the relevant professional staff within organization.

Preparation of progress report on weekly & monthly basis.

Survey of different materials from the market before preparing the proposal.

Follow interior designing trend material and advancement according to the nature of the building.

Visit the site and ensure the specific standards and regulations to make sure that there is no breach in the approved proposal and materials.

Selecting the material and manage approval with the consultation of senior manager. Any other duty / requirement assigned by the management.

Requirements

Minimum 16 years education in Architecture or Interior Design

At least 8 years relevant post qualification experience

Strong understanding of interior design standards and public sector requirements

Ability to work with multidisciplinary technical teams

Knowledge of government project processes and documentation
