Job Description
Design Tech Engineering Solutions is hiring a Finishes Work Civil Supervisor in Lahore to oversee all building finishing activities and ensure quality execution within approved timelines. The role involves site supervision, coordination with trades and MEP teams, quality control, and daily reporting during finishing stages.
Responsibilities
Supervise finishing works including plastering, tiling, marble/granite, painting, false ceilings, gypsum board, doors/windows, and flooring.
Ensure finishing works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Coordinate with subcontractors, masons, painters, carpenters, and other finishing trades.
Monitor material quality, usage, and workmanship on site.
Conduct daily site inspections and ensure rectification of defects and snags.
Ensure proper surface preparation prior to finishing activities.
Coordinate with MEP teams to avoid clashes and rework during finishing stages.
Maintain site records, daily progress reports, and manpower logs.
Ensure health, safety, and housekeeping standards are followed.
Assist engineers in inspections, mockups, and client/consultant approvals.
Requirements
Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 1–3 years experience in building finishing works.
Strong knowledge of finishing materials and workmanship standards.
Ability to read drawings and understand specifications.
Good coordination and communication skills.
