Job Description
CityTech Engineering is hiring an AutoCAD Draftsman in Lahore to support structural steel and architectural metalwork projects. The role focuses on preparing detailed models, fabrication drawings, and coordination with engineers and project teams to meet technical and delivery requirements.
Responsibilities
Use Tekla to model structural steelwork from engineer’s design and arrangement drawings.
Add connections in accordance with engineers’ calculations and specifications.
Generate general arrangement drawings and detailed fabrication drawings.
Prepare information packs for fabrication including assembly drawings, CAM data, and material lists.
Work closely with contract and project teams to resolve technical queries.
Read and interpret structural engineers’ and architects’ drawings, design reports, and specifications.
Ensure all drawings and models comply with current regulations, codes, and project requirements
Requirements
Minimum 1 year experience using AutoCAD in structural steel or architectural metalwork projects.
Experience detailing from design team drawings to produce fabrication packages.
Familiarity with Tekla Structures is required.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with engineers, architects, and clients
Good time management and basic project coordination skills.
