Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) is responsible for planning, development, and management of water and power resources in Pakistan. It oversees major water infrastructure and hydropower projects that support national development, energy supply, and water management relevant to large-scale urban and real estate growth.
The Government of Pakistan established the Water and Power Development Authority under the WAPDA Act, 1958.
