Ministry of Housing & Works (MoHW) is responsible for policy formulation, planning, and execution of housing and public works programs in Pakistan. It oversees federal housing initiatives, government accommodation, and construction and maintenance of public buildings and infrastructure. It also coordinates national housing strategies and regulates attached and autonomous organizations under its administrative control.
The Government of Pakistan established the Ministry of Housing & Works to manage federal housing and works functions.
It has key attached and autonomous organizations, including:
- Pakistan Public Works Department (Pak PWD)
- National Housing Authority (NHA)
- Naya Pakistan Housing & Development Authority (NAPHDA)
The Ministry of Housing & Works is headed by the Federal Minister for Housing & Works.
