Work initiation in Sectors C15 and C16 marks an important step in the Capital Development Authority’s efforts to expand Islamabad’s planned residential zones. These sectors are located along the Margalla corridor and are part of the city’s long term master plan to create organized housing communities supported by modern infrastructure and improved connectivity. Early development activities aim to prepare the land for structured residential and commercial growth.
The initial work includes land clearing, boundary marking, road alignment, installation planning for utilities, drainage layout and preparation of plots for future development. These early-stage activities help establish the foundation for complete sector development, which will include internal roads, parks, community facilities, commercial areas and essential service networks. The planned layout is designed to offer a well-organized living environment with smooth access to surrounding sectors and major traffic corridors.
