Rehabilitation of PHASE-III Sector (G-13)

Federal Government Employees Housing Authority

PHASE-III Sector G-13 is a residential housing scheme of the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority in Islamabad. The scheme was launched in 1996 in Sector G-13 and G-14/4, with land acquired through the Land Acquisition Collector under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. Initial development was awarded by CDA to FWO, while maintenance was originally planned under CDA as per the approved PC-I. The project includes a total of 6,695 residential plots.

The rehabilitation and infrastructure development work of Sector G-13 was later taken over by FGEHA in March 2015 in compliance with Wafaqi Mohtasib findings. FGEHA undertook rehabilitation and infrastructure development works in 2016, including roads, infrastructure upgrades, maintenance works and street lights. Official updates state that almost 90% of rehabilitation and infrastructure works have been completed, while street light works were still in progress.

FGEHA is managing PHASE-III Sector G-13 as an established residential sector with continued rehabilitation, infrastructure improvement and maintenance responsibilities. Due to its prime Islamabad location, existing residential activity and ongoing upgrade works, the project remains highly important for residents and long-term urban management within the capital.
