Punjab Forensic Science Agency Lahore is a full service forensic laboratory providing specialized forensic services under 14 distinct forensic disciplines within a single integrated facility. The agency supports the criminal justice system by receiving physical evidence from law enforcement agencies in criminal and civil cases and conducting scientific analysis for stakeholders including apex courts, investigating agencies, prosecutors and other relevant authorities.
To strengthen forensic capabilities and professional training, the Infrastructure Development Authority of the Punjab was assigned as the executing agency for the design and construction of a new forensic training laboratory building. The facility was developed to enhance training for law enforcement agencies and scientific staff, supporting improved investigation standards and effective functioning of the criminal justice system.
