PHASE-VI (Bhara Kahu Housing Scheme), namely Green Enclave-I, is a residential project of the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority located in Islamabad’s Bara Kahu area. The scheme commenced in 2009 under Membership Drive Phase-I for federal government employees and others on a first-come, first-served basis. As per the approved layout plan, the scheme includes 3,282 residential plots across five categories, with consent letters and provisional offer letters issued to eligible members.
The project includes residential plot categories ranging from 25×50 to 50×90, planned roads, community facilities and supporting infrastructure within FGEHA’s organized housing framework. Computerized balloting was held on 26 February 2021, after which plot numbers were earmarked and communicated to allottees. FGEHA states that around 3,375 kanals of land in Green Enclave-I is clear and in its possession, while the construction contract has been executed and development work is in progress.
