The Department of Architecture and Planning at NED University of Engineering and Technology Karachi was initiated in 2000 as part of the university master plan and later expanded to graduate level education in planning and architecture. The department delivers a studio centered learning environment that aims to develop technically sound and socially responsive professionals, equipped with contemporary tools and skills for the profession. It is housed at the university City Campus in Karachi’s historic core, within the restored Old Campus setting that reflects a strong built heritage context for design learning and academic inquiry.

Bachelor of Architecture is delivered through a structured semester system spread over ten semesters and five years
