The Islamia University of Bahawalpur

IUB traces its origins to the Jamia Abbasia founded in 1925 by Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi V, with university status granted in 1975. Headquartered at the Abbasia Campus, University Chowk, Bahawalpur, and spread over roughly 1,280 acres with additional sub-campuses at Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan, IUB’s Faculty of Engineering and Technology (established as UCET in 1999) houses both Architecture and Civil Engineering departments relevant to real estate.
