Rs. 100 Billion Projects Launched to Transform Provincial Capital

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has unveiled a Rs. 100 billion development package aimed at reviving Peshawar’s historical identity and upgrading its urban infrastructure. During a high-level meeting with provincial and national lawmakers, Afridi outlined plans to enhance civic facilities, accelerate pending development schemes, and expand key infrastructure across the city. He emphasized that Peshawar, as the face of KP, requires urgent and sustained attention. A major public gathering is scheduled for December 7 to build public and political support for the initiative. The package includes large-scale infrastructure upgrades, transport improvements, urban planning reforms, and enhanced civic services. Officials highlighted the need for transparency, strong administrative coordination, and continuous monitoring to ensure timely completion and tangible improvements for residents.
