Ghandhara to Roll Out Zhongtong Luxury Buses in Pakistan by 2026

Ghandhara Industries Limited (PSX: GHNI) has entered a strategic partnership with China’s Zhongtong Bus Holding Co., marking a major expansion in Pakistan’s automotive and bus manufacturing sector. According to a filing at the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the collaboration includes introducing, distributing, and eventually assembling Zhongtong luxury buses locally. Ghandhara will establish a separate production line dedicated to Zhongtong, enabling full-scale assembly and manufacturing. The company plans to launch Completely Built-Up (CBU) luxury buses in the first quarter of 2026, while local assembly is expected to commence by mid-2026, subject to regulatory approvals and plant expansion. Ghandhara stated that this partnership will diversify its product range and contribute to long-term growth in Pakistan’s transportation industry
