Murree Glass Train Routes and Fares Revealed

The Punjab Masstransit Authority (PMA) has released the first official details for the Murree Glass Train, an eco-friendly electric monorail designed to provide a fast and scenic travel option between Islamabad and the hill station. According to PMA, the train will operate from Lake View Park to a station near the Murree bus stand, completing the journey in about 40 minutes. The monorail will include four stations: Lake View Park, Chattar Park, Ghora Gali, and the final Murree stop. PMA has announced two fare categories — Rs. 500 for standard class and Rs. 1,000 for premium. Built with glass walls for panoramic views, the electric train aims to reduce traffic, lower emissions, and boost tourism. Additional operational details will be announced soon
