Lahore: Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has completed special arrangements to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply during Muharram-ul-Haram. According to LESCO Chief Executive Officer Engineer Muhammad Ramzan Butt, dedicated teams of deputy managers, assistant managers, and technical officers will remain on duty from June 17 to June 26. Special monitoring measures have also been implemented through the Punjab Government’s control room to ensure a stable power supply during religious gatherings and processions. Officials stated that electricity networks feeding major procession routes and congregation sites will be closely monitored to prevent disruptions. Reliable utility services during major public events are considered essential for public safety, urban management, and community confidence. Will these measures help ensure smooth observance of Muharram across Lahore?
