Job Description
Punjab Masstransit Authority is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Director Civil under the project Development of Masstransit Systems in Gujranwala and Faisalabad. The role is part of the Project Management Unit and Project Implementation Units established for this project and is offered on a contract basis. The selected candidate will support planning execution monitoring and coordination of civil engineering activities related to masstransit infrastructure works. The position requires strong technical understanding of infrastructure development projects along with the ability to coordinate field implementation in line with approved standards timelines and project requirements.
Responsibilities
Support civil engineering planning and implementation for masstransit infrastructure projects
Monitor on ground execution of civil works in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
Coordinate with consultants contractors and project teams for timely project delivery
Assist in design review technical evaluation and construction supervision activities
Ensure compliance with quality standards safety requirements and approved project scope
Support progress monitoring reporting and issue resolution during project execution
Maintain coordination with PIU Gujranwala and PIU Faisalabad for assigned civil works
Requirements
BSc degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering
Minimum 5 years experience in civil engineering on infrastructure development projects
Strong understanding of construction supervision and project coordination
Ability to review drawings and monitor compliance with technical specifications
Good communication coordination and reporting skills
Punjab domicile required
