Job Description
Directorate General of Archaeology Tourism Archaeology and Museums Department Government of Punjab is inviting applications for the position of CAD Operator under the ADP project Capacity Building of Directorate General of Archaeology. The role focuses on preparation documentation and digitization of architectural and heritage related drawings for conservation and development projects. The selected candidate will support technical teams in preparing accurate drawings documentation and digital records for heritage sites and archaeological structures.
Responsibilities
Prepare architectural and technical drawings using CAD software
Assist in documentation and digital record keeping of heritage structures
Support survey and documentation of historical buildings
Coordinate with architects engineers and conservation teams
Revise drawings based on project requirements and feedback
Maintain organized drawing files and project records
Ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards
Requirements
Three years diploma of Associate Engineering in Architecture Technology from recognized board
Minimum 5 years experience preferably in survey and documentation of heritage buildings
Expertise in AutoCAD and drafting tools
Strong understanding of technical drawing standards
Good coordination and documentation skills
