Job Description
Directorate General of Archaeology Tourism Archaeology and Museums Department Government of Punjab is inviting applications for the position of Conservation Architect under the ADP project Capacity Building of Directorate General of Archaeology. The role focuses on preservation conservation and management of heritage sites monuments and historically significant structures across Punjab.
Responsibilities
Prepare conservation plans for historical buildings and heritage sites
Supervise restoration and preservation works of monuments
Ensure compliance with conservation standards and heritage regulations
Coordinate with architects engineers and conservation experts
Conduct site assessments and documentation of heritage structures
Assist in project planning management and reporting
Ensure proper architectural conservation techniques are implemented
Maintain documentation related to conservation and restoration works
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Architecture or Architecture Engineering from HEC recognized university
Registration with PCATP required
Master degree in Conservation Heritage Management or related field preferred
Minimum 7 years experience with Master degree or 10 years with Bachelor degree
Experience in conservation of heritage sites and monuments preferred
Knowledge of architectural conservation practices and regulations
