Job Description
Directorate General of Archaeology Tourism Archaeology and Museums Department Government of Punjab is inviting applications for the position of Project Coordinator under the ADP project Capacity Building of Directorate General of Archaeology. The role is designed for senior professionals with strong experience in project supervision heritage management and conservation of historical sites.
Responsibilities
Supervise development and conservation projects related to archaeology and heritage sites
Ensure compliance with heritage preservation standards and government regulations
Coordinate with technical teams consultants and government departments
Manage project timelines budgets and execution strategies
Oversee conservation of historical monuments and archaeological assets
Prepare progress reports and provide strategic input for project improvement
Ensure quality control and proper documentation of all project activities
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering from HEC recognized university
Registration with PCATP or PEC required
Master degree in Civil Engineering Heritage Management or Project Management preferred
Minimum 15 years experience with Master degree or 20 years with Bachelor degree
Proven experience in supervision of development projects preferably in heritage conservation
Strong leadership coordination and project management skills
