Job Description
AlHaadi Mobilya SMC Private Limited is seeking a skilled Draftsman to join its furniture design team in Lahore. The role involves preparing precise technical drawings blueprints and layout designs for furniture production. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with designers engineers and production teams to ensure concepts are accurately translated into manufacturable drawings.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed technical drawings sketches and blueprints for furniture designs
Convert conceptual ideas from designers into precise CAD drawings
Ensure all drawings meet company standards and specifications
Coordinate with production team to ensure designs are manufacturable
Revise drawings based on feedback from designers or clients
Maintain organized documentation of design files
Assist in material selection dimensions and technical specifications
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Drafting Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Interior Design or related field
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software
Knowledge of SketchUp 3D Max or SolidWorks is an advantage
Strong understanding of furniture design joinery and material properties
Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings
Good communication and teamwork skills
Previous experience in furniture manufacturing or interior design preferred
