ISLAMABAD: City authorities have decided to restart the stalled 10th Avenue project and proceed with the construction of 11th Avenue to manage the expected surge in traffic after completion of the Margalla Road–M-1 link. The Capital Development Authority is finalizing tenders for the new road, which will eventually connect with the Rawalpindi Ring Road. Officials anticipate heavy traffic on Margalla Road once the route becomes operational. CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa emphasized proactive traffic planning and directed timely Environmental Impact Assessments for all future infrastructure projects to improve traffic flow and urban mobility.
