Job Description
Communication and Works Department Government of the Punjab is inviting applications for the position of Manager Architecture under the Strategic Planning Unit SPU. This role is part of a high level initiative aimed at strengthening planning and design capabilities within the department. The selected candidate will contribute to architectural planning design oversight and coordination for public sector development projects.
Responsibilities
Planning, and preparation of Architectural designs under the guidance of Senior Manager Architecture.
Preparation of Concept Architectural proposal for the client including the 3-D of the project.
Preparing the interior design proposal supported with 3D wings.
Preparation of working drawings after the approval from client.
Liaising with relevant professional staff within the organization.
Preparation of the progress report on weekly basis.
Ensure that the design as carried out to specific standard building codes guide line and regulation.
Make site visit to check that there is no breach in design & execution.
Preparation of project report after visiting the site.
Follow Architectural trends and advancements.
Selecting and approval of material with the consultation of Senior Manager Architecture.
Any other duties assigned by the management.
Requirements
Minimum 16 years education in Architecture
At least 8 years relevant post qualification experience
Strong understanding of public sector architectural standards
Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
Knowledge of government project procedures
